How-to-create-a-business-website-on-WordPress

Whether you’re looking to get the first website for your business or simply want to improve the design of your existing business website, WordPress is the way to go. As you already know why you should opt for a WordPress website, let’s see ‘how’ a business website can be created on WordPress.

Seriously, thousands of dollars are not required for your WordPress website if you’re starting up. But, you can definitely expect the website to be a huge contributing factor for your business growth.

Here’s the step-by-step process of how you can build your own WordPress website for your business:

Now, the best part about creating a WordPress website for your business is that you do not require to hit the lines of code for starting.

Step 1: Register Your Domain

The first thing to do is to decide over a name of the company and immediately register your domain name. Your domain name should be short, clear and same as/or similar to the name of your company. If you already have a domain, great. If not, you can register one.

Step 2: Get A Hosting

Getting a hosting space is like having a home for the website where it will exist. Whenever required, you can move your website from one home to another, i.e. from one hosting service to another. We would recommend to host your blog on a separate server than your business website. Cloudways is always a better solution, which is also cheaper than others available.

If you are a SaaS or Web App company, you can host it on subdomain like this: app.example.com and host the website on WordPress with main domain. This tactic helps you in case if your website backend gets crashed due to any reason, at least your website will always be live through WordPress.

Step 3: Install WordPress

Whichever hosting service you choose, almost all of them come with one-click WordPress installation feature. Just go to your hosting service dashboard and install WordPress in quick five minutes.

Step 4: Design Your WordPress Website

The next step is to select the suitable WordPress theme – free or premium. Your website’s appearance will be the first thing that your visitors will see and decide whether to stay further or not. Yes, WordPress themes are responsible for making your website to look a particular way.

Paid themes are more customizable and smoother to work upon. If you don’t want to start with paid theme, simply install the best free WordPress theme and start focusing on your business.

For having a professional WordPress website for your business, you can hire someone for custom website design. Want us to do? Get started here.
