Edition 25 - Could Design Thinking help you become an excellent leader?

It’s very common for leaders in the consulting world to prescribe treatment for the problems and challenges of others  and be fully qualified and effective in doing so while continuing to fly by the seat of their pants when it comes to their own teams and/or organisations. Since it’s the expressed job of consultants to provide expert advice , the dichotomy here is especially glaring, but in reality, this scenario is present regardless of industry, product, or service.

If you’re thinking of learning Python  or if you recently started learning it   you may be asking yourself. “What exactly can I use Python for?” Well that’s a tricky question to answer, because there are so many applications for Python. But over time, We have observed that there are 3 main popular applications for Python. Web Development, Data Science including Machine Learning, Data analysis, Data visualisation and Scripting.

Interaction Design is not a fresh term in the design industry. While batches of Rookies are flocking in this industry with questions about this term. Interaction design often abbreviated as IxD, is “the practice of designing interactive digital products, environments, systems, and services.” While the digital side of this statement is true, interaction design is also useful when creating physical (non-digital) products, exploring how a user might interact with it. Common topics of interaction design include design, human–computer interaction, and software development. 

Ever wondered how many online advertisements you have been subjected to since you started browsing the Internet? Hundreds of Thousands? Millions? Wherever you go online, you leave behind a digital footprint, with data from website visits, searches, cookies, and your browser being accumulated in an attempt to figure out which ads you’re going to be most interested in seeing. The giants of the internet are all in on this game.

The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, serenely aware. In a few recent experiments done at various universities, mental processes from processing information, tuning out distractions, and switching between tasks all improved thanks to running. Running has been linked with mindfulness with more frequency lately, and many think that running could be a useful way to help with things like stress and depression. Plus, you just always seem to feel really good after a run.
